Industrial design module in first year semester two. Our brief was to take an existing product and create a CAD representation using NX 8.5. Our task then led us to using rendering programs and photoshop to produce a range of images that give a detail, aesthetic digital representation of our product.
I took this opportunity to create my own product. After designing a speaker system two years prior I took the opportunity to dramatically improve the original design and create realistic CAD representations of the idea. Using the General shape and information previously created I successfully proceeded with the design and formed it in NX.
The CAD model was then rendered using Keyshot 5 to create several images. During this process I manipulated materials, colours, and textures. In alliance with Photoshop I created the images you can see.
